Me

I am a native Kentuckian, born in Lexington in 1962, and raised in the burbs of Louisville. I currently reside in Butchertown with my husband, Jens, where we spend much of our time “finding ourselves”.

After a long stint as a “stay at home” mom, I returned to school to complete an education that I had begun 25 years earlier. Now, with a BA in studio art, and 45 years behind me, I venture out into the world of visual art as a means to a new beginning. I have chosen to seek out an audience primarily through regional art shows and festivals where I can make a personal connection with anyone that enjoys my artwork.

     My art

I capture my photographs using a variety of cameras and techniques, and then process them digitally using only archival quality materials. Each image carries with it a sense of where I have been, and where I might be going on this journey called “life”. It is my hope to create images that my viewers will find both visually appealing and familiar or nostalgic.
